    According to Qualcomms website the Snapdragon 810 (like in my Nexus 6P) should support Galileo. But no doubt they'll refuse to release the necessary driver or code so people have to upgrade to a newer phone if they want it.

    So an improvement from around metres positional accuracy with GPS to around a metre with Galileo. No doubt that will help direct more targeted adverts to your phone as you walk down the high street!

    Useful for general navigation though and raises new applications -self guiding golf balls for example!

    Firing up GPS Test on the Nexus 6p I can already see GPS, GLONASS and Beidou satellite data. I'd be surprised if Galileo wasn't enabled too.
