Grand Theft Auto 5 won the Game within a game category?!?! How, when you have a game like The Witcher 3 in there with Gwent as a sub game?

I think it's quite simple... There will be much more GTA players in the audience who would take a vote in semi-ridicule cathegories. While not so many Witcher 3 players. Given how whole voting is build it's aimed for specific target audience.

Gwent is hands down one of the best games within a game I have ever played, but GTA arguably has a lot more games within the game (depending on how you class what a game within a game actually is), as well as having a larger player base. This would give more players a bigger choice of mental images to conjure up when being asked the question - so a quantity over quality vote IMO!

Shame Ape Escape on the PS1 wasn't eligible, I played Monkey boxing on that more than the actual game.
