I'd be more interested in GPGPU compute times as even though i don't know the details PCPer said they've seen them fluctuate wildly in Windows 10.

    Lol, well said.

I find it odd that in this context people would turn their nose up at a 5% improvement, when that is an Intel generational improvement.

If we were talking about a GTX1060 being 5% faster than an RX480 I would expect to hear all sorts of rhetoric about AMD being "owned" like it was a vast and planet changing difference in performance

You should all know by now that us gamers like to demand, demand, demand and then moan and complain about the results. It is how we keep these companies on their toes and work more efficiently, hell they already charge us enough for the pleasure so why not keep pushing them for more!

Thanks EvilCycle, please let me know on the other thread how you get on? interesting to see other peoples results.

Quite fancy trying FH3 on my PC.
I love Forza Horizon 3, gutted i didnt pay more and get the PC version but the Xbox one version is mighty impressive.

I must admit i have not removed any of Windows 10 unnecessary programs that are pre-installed.
    perhaps i should do that

So, is this stuff just around the corner, or nah?
DX12 has been the biggest non-event for me no real improvements on existing games even though there were rumours of patches, bring back Mantle i say!

Yet if it was Nvidia bringing this they would charge a $300 yearly subscription and all it's users would hail it as the second coming of jesus.

I've long been a lover of Microsoft products in the past but windows 10 isn't doing it for me in the slightest.
Also I would like to add if your on the windows insider group like myself have a read in the feedback hub, atm it is littered with people complaining about game mode crashing games /steam and showing no improvements in fps.

And annoyingly, the digital version is much more expensive than the physical!

Still, it's worth it. Having finally got enough help from the service desk to get it running (Windows apps have a ton of permissions problems), it's one of the most fun driving games I've played.
