Re: Logitech MK850 Performance wireless keyboard / mouse combo

If i have to touch the keybord i would be better of using keyboard shortcut.
Also, this is software thing, so ...

looks nice for office, i wonder how is the feel.

I am still rocking on Logitech G15 - immortal keybord. So no change for me anyway.

Re: Logitech MK850 Performance wireless keyboard / mouse combo

The article is a little bit misleading. Windows 7 (and above) is supported for both the keyboard and the mouse using Logitech's Unifying (2.4GHz wireless) technology. However, Bluetooth only works with Windows 8 and above.

    Why not £199.99 for a 15£ value mouse+kb combo?
The peripherals market is becoming everyday more and more ridiculous.

Interesting setup, if I wasn't already set @work then I'd probably give this a go.

If you're talking about gaming peripherals, (which this Logitech isn't), then I'm going to agree with you. I can't help thinking that there's a lot of nerd preening going on ... "oh look I've got the Acmetech Death Monster Pro Lumina XL+ keyboard, just like (insert random l33t gamer tag here) has"

On the other hand, with non-gaming kit at the top end, there are some that are worth the money. I'm currently using a Logitech MX1000 (circa 2006) that's still going strong (although I'm on at least my third set of replacement feet for it), and at work my "daily driver" keyboard is a Logitech K800, that's more than 5 1/2 years old and still going strong. Both were quite expensive, but conversely have proven superb value for money.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...
