Depends on which car I'm in - Either Google maps via android auto , or Native Nissan GPS + Waze for traffic. Would love for Waze to be android auto compatible.

I am happy with my TomTom GO 50. Great for its price. It sometimes has difficulty pairing with my phone but a restart usually solves that.

whatif - Yes, I'm in England.

A lot of Tomtoms with live traffic run on Vodafone's 2G network here. It's still operational but who knows how long for? There are rumours of people having difficulty connecting at busy times in some parts of the country because Vodafones legacy 2G service is over stretched.

Many more recent Tomtom PNDs use a bluetooth connection to a smartphone - so are not affected by Vodafone's 2G infrastructure.

Obviously this has no effect on phone apps, which just use the smartphone's connection. A few less traffic probes maybe (floating car data to invorm Tomtom's info comes from passive monitoring of all Vodafone phones, All live Tomtom PNDs and apps, and all iphones (unless the owner opts out).

I use built in TomTom which came with my car. It has live traffic info as well. It's actually very good.
