    Sorry, it doesn't mean anything to me. It's just a survey about internet access. Meaningless with regards to landline usage.

    Anyway, BT has 2.3 million landline only customers according to the Hexus news article.

    If you multiply the number of customers with the cost of line rental over the course of the year then you realise it's not exact a dying market.

    2300000 x 18.99 x 12 = £524,124,000.

    In other words it's a half a billion pound market for BT.
