    Would be nice to build my PC before ordering, as said there is always small details which can cause issues like cable length or where connectors are on the board.

    This has potential but I can imagine the initial database will be hard to do and likewise keeping it up to date is a must.

    If they get in with retailers and manufacturers it could really get going.

    Game is free, but each new motherboard or PSU DLC will cost £900...

    I agree. Probably easier just to enable modding and let other people input various components. I would imagine a tool like this could be more useful than something like SketchUp on planning a build, especially when adding watercooling.
