It certainly feels like the thin end of the wedge.. or maybe it's just another wedge along with gps enabled smart phones and Government spying with impunity!

Did anyone else think of Scully's chip in the neck from X-files?

Only chip going into my body accompanies a piece of Cod and maybe a pickled onion.

Or the ones that taste of chocolate and are in muffins and cakes!

There is no way I would consider doing this, what's wrong with an ID card?

This will make it much easier for someone to steal your "employee id" can gain access to company buildings & resources. Not to mention get free smoothies.

It was the "Career Chip" from Futurama that immediately came to mind for me.

I doubt you'd need a crystal ball to divine my thoughts on this either.

Each month 'body hacker' Jowan Osterlund, from Biohax Sweden, visits the hub and brings pre-loaded syringes to implant NFC capsules into the fleshy area between volunteer thumbs and forefingers.
Well, Mr. Osterlund, come near me with that thing and I'll take it off you and shove the entire injector, handle first, somewhere that'll be no fun at all, and would require serious 'body hacking', to get it out.

Or putting it another way, oh HELL NO.

I cancelled my credit cards that required NFC, so NOBODY is sticking their <bleeep> chip in my hand without them risking informal gender reassignment surgery if they try.

Not unless reincarnation is true. I'm not planning on being born in the future. Last time was enough.

Next you will tell us we should all eat dog food because dogs eat it.

One more thing pets have a much more shorter life span than humans so we don't know the long term effects of these devices in the human body.

my thoughts are similar to Saracens in regards to data privacy.
mainly because I used to work on the gov't database that recorded said details from birth. I used to create the 'digital you' essentially. Without that record, good luck trying to prove you were born in the UK

so anything that has any of these details on a chip that you just wave at things and you cant even turn off or know whats accessing it, I guard closer than my teddybear that ive had since I was 1 hour old.
