I'd be tempted with a Note7R or whatever it's called as I don't fancy a fingerprint sensor on the back and I like the Home button
I think I read that it's mainly the eastern markets getting them and they will be at full price which is a bit of a pooper. I would like to upgrade the wifes Note3 at refurb prices but that doesn't look like it's going to happen QQQuote:

I've posted on a different forum that I do not think that the phone will be known as Note 8.
2 reasons - Note has too bad a name and secondly Samsung released a tablet (my tablet actually) called Galaxy Note 8.0.
IMO would be too consumerfusing to have both a Note 8 and a Note 8.0
Having said all that, I don't care what it's called - my contract is just up and I was really looking forward to the Note 7 - but my eyesight will eventaually, really enjoy a 6.32" screen - time to do a deal with retentions and switch to a good sim only deal until Octoberish.
