I wish they'd hurry up with Vega so I can decide what to replace my gtx 970 with. The 5xx series sounds like a waste of time as they consume more power than my current card and don't produce a big enough graphical advantage. The 1080ti looks amazing but knowing nvidia in a few months time we will find out a hidden disadvantage.

Anyway my fingers are crossed for the Vega cards being nvidia gtx beaters in all aspects.

    they shouldn't, you know why?
because the more people rush them, the more rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishups can happen
nvidia is where it is because they had all the time in world to create new products
because they believed AMD would never make a strong comeback.
people didnt rush them to release 10 series or 9 series graphics cards, where as AMD tried to compete as quick as possible to their own peril in the past.
I'm not hoping for Vega to be able to beat 1080 lineup, but atleast be on par and cost less.
maybe that would mean price drops to older cards & that's a gain for us as consumers.
I'm not in high hopes for vega, but I'm really glad that AMD is moving onwards and found their growth formula

this is such bs! you did a review on AMD and listed the negative first! YOU did a review on intel and i dont recall you listing ANY NEGATIVE news about them. Clearly intel had their hand in a few companies butt! i could list 3 things intel F-d up on that could have been mentioned as a negative for the entire company.

Good point ! but I do hope they get one over Nvidia this time, thereby forcing Nvidia not to hold back with their next gen' cards, similar to how I wished Ryzen would have given Intel a good thrashing
