No surprise given the prices they are charging, the 10xx prices were insane, iirc the 980ti launched for £550 and the 1080 no Ti launched for over £700!
AMD get things sorted out in the high end please!

Mostly the brexit effect. Launches prices were: 980 $549, 980 Ti $649, 1080 $599, 1080 Ti $699 - so yes, the tiers did go up, but only $50 per tier, and the 1080 at launch was cheaper than the 980 Ti. Except in the UK, where we collectively managed to wipe around 20% off the value of our currency in the intervening time, that is...

A 24% drop in gaming revenue is rather poor when AMD only had a 1% drop over the same period

AMD is up to the 1st april, nvidia is up to the 30th. No difference, unless there's some big present based holiday in january that I've missed.

I think you're looking at Q4 '17 vs Q1 '18 ($1,348 vs. $1,027).
Those aren't comparable quarters; normally investors would look at year-on-year (i.e. Q1 vs. Q1), which is where the last column of +49% comes from ($1,027 vs. $687).

Yes, I am. AMD rode out from the christmas boom keeping turnover stable in the enthusiast segment, nvidia's gaming segment saw a 24% drop over essentially the same period.
