Given you can't actually but it standalone, I'd hazard a guess that it's still rare.

Wouldn't mind the option to bump the CPU up to a 7560U, other than that its still a nice machine and the screen is a welcome upgrade.

The ultralight laptop market all uses soldered ram, so there isn't much of a market for LPDDR4 RAM upgrades which is probably why there isn't any LPDDR4 SODIMMs available. There's only a 0.1v difference anyway, if you can fit a SODIMM you can probably deal with the slightly elevated power draw

Most of it still seems to be BGAs and POPs for the mobile (i.e. phone/tablet) market though.
