A Gigabyte P34Wv4 I bought a for $300 less the usual price because the v5 was just released. Now my main computer for work and fun. Has a more powerful GPU than my previous desktop's HD7850. Mostly runs Majaro XFCE, Win10 just for games.

Blade, and Blade.
I have a lenovo 3 year old laptop that i use daily and cost about £300 and does everything except games
And in January I brought an MSI GS 73 VR F for gaming, slimline 1060, but it cost me £1800 and i'm too scared to use it throughout the day so only use when gaming.
Really old HP530. Only used to run an ILDA laser. Rest is done on phone or *shudder* ipad2 or more likely work beast of a puter with dual monitor setup
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Ten year old Acer Aspire 7720G running Windows 10 (although the RAM and HDD have been upgraded and the boot drive is a small SSD in the second drive bay). No point buying another as laptops are not exactly wheelchair friendly.
Four year old Clevo P15SM from Scan computers; I've upgraded it with a fast Samsung SSD making it great for general tasks but the 780m is getting a bit long in the tooth for current games. It is also pretty heavy with it's massive power brick. I want something light to cart about when I go offshore and the Gigabyte Aero 15 looks to be my next laptop.
HP Folio 9480m. Really like the 1600x900 resolution. 1080p at the time was far to expensive, and it was a brand new second hand bargain at a third the price. 4th gen i5, the only downside is the integrated GPU.
Would like to get a XPS 15 with nVidia 1050 graphics. But no hurry.
I am split between an Asus ROG i7 GTX 670MX, big heavy beast, but has plenty of oomph. Tends to be used as my home laptop (main rig upstairs), but also comes on holiday to do video and photo duty.
But when something lighter is more appropriate I use a Dell venue 11 convertible tablet thing. I have surprisingly ended up using this for most of my astro stuff, including controlling cameras and capturing from a webcam.
Both were picked up 2nd hand, the ROG wasn't cheap and I added an SSD and Bluray drive. But I have had it a couple of years and its been faultless. Might even add a RAID pair of SSDs for a laugh at some point.
Got a Asus G750JX which is rarely used as its just too big and heavy. Was one of these good idea at the time purchases..
Lenovo Yoga 710. Power and flexibility were pretty important to me and I'm fairly happy with it at the time, even if it's the most expensive piece of kit I've ever bought, but it's also the first i7 I've ever owned. Hope to avoid upgrading for at least 5 years.
alienware 17 r4.
Bought it 4 years ago? needed a mobile desktop, so its still quite usefull today, without feeling slow in any way.
i7 Surface Book with Performance base. Love the thing but I am starting to conciser heading back to Macbook just for the seamless integration with my phone and tab. Got to the point in my life where I just my stuff to function without playing.. The desktop gaming rig if for fun, the rest is just a modern pencil case :-)
Surface Pro 3, after using a Dell XPS 13 for a long time. Very pleased with the Surface, especially for writing/using out in the field - wouldn't want anything else (except maybe a newer version, lol).
Still use the desktop for photo/video editing/gaming, but as a day-to-day business machine, the Surface is hard to beat.
This was me in May after a long night:

One can never stop saying Thank You
I have the 2017 (early) Razer Blade. I love it for the most part other than the loud fan when apps load up such as Adobe or chrome (with a lot of tabs). I opted for the 1080p display for the slightly better battery life when on the go and no need to scale, however, the keyboard ends up scratching the dispaly a tad. Only noticeable when off, but still annoying. If I could go back, I'd get the 4K option.
Scan 3xs MVW-20, 4k screen, customised with 1tb m.2 SSD, 2TB HDD, GTX1070, i7-7700k, 32GB RAM.
Got it as a portable desktop replacement for heavy audio work, some video work, and the card for games. Only runs at full demand for about 2.5h, so it's not a normal idea of a laptop, but the main thing is that I can stick it in a bag and take it abroad with me. Got it mounted on a Cooler Master stand (I doubt the fans do much, but the angle really helps, and the extra port options). A hulk, but/and I love it to death.
