    £700 for 800GB data storage. I fear to find out the cost of the 1.6TB drive, but I'll go ahead and assume it's £1500. Or, you know, the price of a good spec desktop PC or laptop. Going broke faster than the drive pushes your Let's Play through Vegas.

    You can get a 1tb Samsung 960 Pro for £570.49 or the 2tb version for little over a grand, this at £800 is almost pointless.

    Buy the 960, stick it in a PCI-E card adapter and stick some heatsinks on, no throttling, faster and cheaper.

    I have 2 x 500B 960 EVO's in RAID 0. Cost (at time of purchase) £480. Absolutely destroys this. And it's in a laptop and temps peak at 35°C.
