Re: I have a little crysis :D
That would depend entirely on what you're doing. The E6850s are sweet - I got one last month and mine runs damned cool. The Q6600 runs at a lower clockspeed but has the 4 cores - problem being that most users won't use 4 cores...
If you're a gamer I personally think that the E6850 would be a better buy, but if you're using apps that can fully exploit the 4 cores the Q6600 is your man. Both should overclock well. |

Re: I have a little crysis :D
Q6600 in theory is more future proof if that means anything in this day and age since more applications/games are going to be programmed to take advantage of extra cores. How many games today take advantage of 2 cores?

Re: I have a little crysis :D
I dunno, but i think im gunna go with the E6850 due to the fact that hardly any games support Dual Core and with a 3.0Ghz corespead that aint half bad and oc it to 3.4 aught to do it.

Re: I have a little crysis :D
I'm struggling to use all 4 cores on mine... really. It's hard.
So frankly, go for the fastest Duo. Alothough I DO love my rig.... ![]() HEXUS FOLDING TEAM | Zak's Weird Partition Theory | HEXUS GAMING.MAINPAGE |Don't be a big racist, give us Nuclear! |
