    Value for money Graphics card

    ATI Radeon 9550 Connect3D 256MB AGP 8X TV-Out
    What would be a good price to pay for one of these cards lads 'n' lasses and what would be the best 256 meg card for the money, if I could nt get this one... round about this sort of spec. Cheers.

    Absolutely pointless getting this as a 256MB card are you wont be able to play any games on it for the last 2 years. What do you use you PC for?

    Im sure for a few quid more you could get a 9600XT by now, its far better than the 9550.

    9800pro from retek ebay shop = £50 odd quid. Still a good card (especially at that price)

    Gravyonmychin dond be fooled by the numbers. a 256 Mb card is not always better than a 128MB card this is especially true in the case of the card you mentioned. If you plan on playing modern games I would reccoment you save up a little and pick up a 9800 pro or 6600GT Both cards come with 128MB of RAM (256mb 6600 GTs are available) and would give the 9550 a good spanking

    9700pro or 9800pro would be a better choice, 9550 is going to struggle
