Can the card be under-volted ? It would be interesting to know what is the lowest idle power possible with the lowest clocks and voltages.

As standard, the card ships with engine/core voltage at 1.125V. This can be reduced to 0.95V and increased to 1.4V, but any setting over 1.287V is considered red-line territory.

so yeah it can, but there's no figures for that. However.... it would be ideal for a lot of people

I am guessing you could buy a card from another manufacturer and flash with a Asus bios and get this going.

ATT (ATI Tray Tools) is what I've always used for overclocking and changing voltages of my ati cards and i think it's absolutely great. Just make sure you get the latest beta version
