It's a good start for a innovative design. Surprising that the problems you identified were not tweaked out in the pre-production design run. I would be very tempted to go for a Mark 2 version if these were addressed and it would be interesting to hear from the manufacturer on these issues.
We are selling a compatible adaptor for the top/front USB 3.0's for this case so that you can route them to an internal USB 3.0 header making things a little neater and less cluttered.

I have this case for my own personal system and love it!

That is a terrible picture! Of the adapter I mean. So you rip the standard USB3 ports out and replace them with that one, which slots straight into the holes left behind? I'm probably going to buy a 3XS FT03 when bulldozer comes out so it's of significant interest
The only thing I would say about this case - I love it, perfect for me and I've had my eye on it ever since Pob (IIRC) pointed it out to me.
However, I saw it today in YoYoTech, and it looked somewhat like a wastepaper bin in the flesh which put me off a little![]()

I'll try and get our web dept to get a better shot of it tomorrow.
But basically yes, you take the old USB/audio connector out and replace with this one, the difference being this one has internal USB 3.0 header connection on the end rather than normal USB connector.
Why it is not supplied with this set-up by default I don't know as it makes on otherwise slick case a little clumsy in this regard.
The pedal at the bottom is missing.......how do you open it to put the trash in?![]()

Dusty bin of the case world ! I dont know if I like it or not ? Is it a Marmite thing ?
I know its off topic but I like the Quote in the Marmite link (clicky "hate")
Eat Marmite? You'd rather rip the wings off live chickens. You'd rather be stripped naked in public. You'd rather swallow rat's tails and snail shells... Enough already! We get the picture. And yes, you're in the right place...
I have got the FT02 and I love it.
I really dont like the looks of this
very good inventiveness by this case's designers!
I am thinking of getting a scan system based on this case. How is cooling/noise compared to say a cm690 ii which is my other choice.
Thanks
This is a bit of an old thread but nevermind![]()
You can get it pretty quiet by changing the 3 supplied case fans (I put in silentwings on 7v). It won't be silent but really quiet. The only noise then is gonna be from hard drives. Some people have a low frequency hum due to harddrive vibrations and panel vibrations. I have it ever so slithly, but cannot hear it 1m away.
I wish I had hands small enough to build in this! (well, you know what i mean...)
