Re: Reviews - NZXT Switch 810

I am still thinking of getting one of these.....feels like I've had my Lian Li forever and it really is getting old and rattly.

While the 810 isn't going to win any beauty contests, I still think it looks nicer (and is cheaper) then the Corsair Obsidian series.....as well as having a few more bells and whistles.

If only the 600T took a triple rad

Re: Reviews - NZXT Switch 810

Wonder if it will come in black?

Not keen on the white, not too keen on all the plastic either. But the internal design is brilliant. If I was on the market for a full tower then I would consider this.
But I think the Corsair 650D offers more of a quality finish - albeit smaller , but more than big enough.

Re: Reviews - NZXT Switch 810

Really like this just as much space as my my original mega tonne Coolermaster COSMOS that is also looking long in the tooth now, however has nothing wrong with it what so ever.

I have a NZXT hale90 power supply in white too. That would look so good in this case with some Corsair LP DDR3 memory in white. (cant think of a modern white motherboard. . . is there one?)

You need to put one of these in a competition and let me win as I cant justify paying to upgrade when when my full tower is and has been faultless all this time!

Beautiful Case. Need to see more white products on the market!

They have it in black on their website and I can't see any reason why the black version wouldn't get to our shores.

I am quite liking it in white myself though.....even though I can be a messy git a times!

Looks like a slightly pimped up budget no-name case to me - certainly doesn't look like a £150 case either inside or out ... may look better in the flesh of course.

It does look raw and not as clean as others, but for cable management and water cooling it's got that spot on, nice setup with the HDD cages too.

    Don't think it's worth £150, but it's good enough to be £100 I think.

Re: Reviews - NZXT Switch 810

If ever I wanted to try watercooling a case like this would be a great place to start. I think in terms of looks it's ok, the key thing that helps overcome the lack of any inspiring looks on the outside is the massive window and the white interior where I could add lights to match the components in the build.

If you could elaborate, I'd like to see why you think so?

The case was designed from the ground up to accomodate both aircooling and watercooling. I'd wager good money that there's no other case out there for the price that has these features.

The popularity of the case and the reviews of have all been highly favorable, telling me that it's not a "slightly pimped up budget no-name case."

hmmm this case is on my shortlist of cases.

If im not going to go the water cooling route, would i be better off going with the NZXT Phantom?

Are there any features that are not included in the Phantom?

To be honest, it all comes down to personal preference and Hardware. The Switch 810 is a better candidate for watercooling all the way around. The Phantom can be used as well, but I think there's more options out of the box with the Switch 810.

Check out some of the reviews around the net, you'll see that the Switch 810 has gained some big support from some great reviewers out there. If the Phantom strikes your tastes better, you can definitely do WC in one as well.

It's actually not too big. I guess if you came from a mid-tower though, it is fairly spacious comparatively. It's a beast, that's for sure.
