Well it's great if you are interested in size, temp, power and noise. Performance is not great except in those traditionally Nvidia favoured games.

Overclocking is very effective, but is starting from quite a low level.

Looks good for a small SFF PC. It seems to half way between an HD7770 and HD7850 1GB,but the recent price-cuts on the HD7850,means for another £15 to £20 you can get a better overall card.

Jeez, cant believe they didn't bring this in at sub £100.

pricing on this generation of cards has been a complete clusterfxxx, from top to bottom.

Re: Reviews - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti

Sub £100 is a bit wishful, that would place it head to head with the 7770 which it is comfortably better than. Starting at £110 would place it more fairly between the 7770 and 7850.

Current pricing means you really have to want the non-performance benefits of size, temp, power and noise.

That just tells me the 7770 is overpriced then.

A pity that neither AMD or Nvidia want to employ you as their sales director then.
We could all be enjoying cheaper products.

Good to see my year old HD6850 still gives this card a run for its money and I bought it for same price of £120 a year ago!

Funnily enough my 6850 is now 2 years old and it cost me £130 at launch.

Re: Reviews - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti

So my question for all of you is this. I already have a 550 ti. Would I be better to spend $60 to get another and SLI them or buy a 650ti?

I bought my 5870 for about £140 a short while before they sold out during the Bitcoin craze, it's still making cards today look like poor value for money.

Performance would be similar between the two solutions, however I suspect there are still games that suffer from poor SLI scaling.

    What games are you playing?

Funnily enough I sold one for my mate on eBay a couple of weeks ago. Got £103 for it! That must be one of AMD's best value-holding cards ever.

Yes, how dare they increase performance by between 30% and 60% over the previous generation whilst keeping the same price?

Whichever way you look at this card it's a pretty good entry into the market - either it's much faster than any previous card that launched at this price (which is it), or it's as fast as previous generation cards that cost significantly more - I reckon it'd comfortably match a 6850 which was £150+ at launch, and get close to a 5850 which was over £200 at launch. Newer tech always costs more at launch - expect prices to drop over the next few months.
