Quite a fan of Antec cases, although for me noise isn't priority (at least as a desktop, HTPC is another story). It did well even with high-end components. Still a fan of my Xigmatek Asgard II though, used for my HTPC.

hmm tempted with case very tempted just wonder if my dh14 heatsink would fit in ?

Not bad at all, but imho it would be better if they had flipped the mobo try to the other side of the case rather then the normal place [ie mounted on the lefthand side of the case not the right as per normal] not only would this mean the cpu is lower down in the case and in line with the front intake fan it would mean that the gfx cards are the right way up for the heatsink to do is job properly also with the design of the cpu at the bottom you can get heatsink supports that take some of the strain that the larger and larger tower cpu coolers are placing on the standoffs.

Why case makers continue to do it the other way i don't know.

Have to agree with Hexus - not a fan of the bulging sides. If the case needs to be wider is it really that costly to just make it wider?

While I'm not too keen on the budges on the sides, I don't they don't look too bad compared to some other cases and on the up side, the budge make the side panel a bit more rigid and therfore less susceptible to viabration, possibly reducing noise.

Also, the noughties called, they want their rear I/O plate back.

Cases are made that way because Motherboards are made that way. Also GFX cards are made with the fans underneath so that the cool air from underneath them is blown over the GPU and Ram sticks and out the back of the enclosure.

I was going to get the Antec One but i Got the Corsair 200r instead. It was close though because the Antec has better front intake than the Corsair. But I don't like how the expansion slots on the Antec can only be removed

But heat rises, the way they have the cards is wrong on a basic level, and it has nothing to do with how the mobos are made, if silverstone can do it with the TJ08 then others can and should.

Need to build a new system soon so this will definitely be considered, some pretty good cooling, and plenty of room it seems, noise is no big concern so that won't be a deciding factor for me.

Sides are a bit weird mind, but it looks alright.
It could be the case for me.

I used this case for a new build for my uncle recently and can thoroughly recommend. Nothing as fancy as this review, just a AMD FM1 quad core build with 8GB RAM with multi card memory card reader, exactly what they need. Cable management in a case this small is real god send, also loving the use of thumb screws for easy quick access.
