    The Bad

    Basic bundled software
That's a good thing. The vast majority of software that I've had bundled with drives has been rubbish. In some cases causing more issues than they solve!

The worst ones are when they pre-install the software on your new drive

Couldn't agree more. You're paying for a drive, software that will just get in the way of everything you're trying to do.

Totally agree, every new USB drive of any size I get is instantly formatted, I've never found anything of any utility on them.

On another note though, anyone who pays extra for a USB drive that allegedly possesses some sort of business style is definitely in the more money than sense category. I worry for businesses whose staff think like that...
