is it possible to open chassis without losing warranty? to clean and upgrade etc...
Is it also possible to stop putting 'gaming machines' inside cases that look like a disabled transformer.
Hi guys, can you check what is going on at PC Specialist. I just went to look at ordering this based on the review and they will not do it? It did work for a short while but showed about £150 more if you tried to alter at all.
This is the second time I have tried with them as the Azure made by them was reviewed really well just recently but they will not supply it for the review price.
I'm pretty sure the pc specialist website only allows you to buy the 'review' spec at the fixed price, any alterations whatsoever to the configuration and the price will go up.
Edit: Hang on, just checked and seems like the review mortis isn't available to order anymore...
Their reviews page gives the impression that they only make a few systems at a fixed price, given the number of recent systems no longer available.
I was happy to buy the review spec but now cannot. Surely Hexus need to take the review down if they cannot supply the PC as reviewed?

Hi Dave, the Mortis buy link was down temporarily but has been restored. The system as reviewed is available to purchase at the £999 price via this URL: http://hexus.net/glc/CN4/
We've spoken to PC Specialist and have been advised that review systems are generally available to purchase until a component is no longer available. For example, the Vulcan 440, reviewed earlier in the year, can no longer be ordered due to the Asus Maximus VII Ranger motherboard being EOL. Hope that helps.
Thanks Pam. Great news well done.
