Nice machine but I do wonder how Coffee Lake will do when its released later this year. If it is basically a slightly improved SKL with 50% more cores, its going to be the ideal gaming CPU.
Nice build but that case would be a deal-breaker.
80 degrees for that CPU under load is pretty embarrassing with that much cooling power thrown at it. Especially when the previous gen ran almost 20 degrees cooler with a similar cooling setup, albeit one radiator was a bit larger and the overclock was 0.4GHz lower. I don't mean to knock scan's work, they've just been dealt a CPU with a naff heatspreader design
......did you guys know the queen of england gets here gaming gear here ?
Main reason I'm never buying from them again, lets have a crest on our website that and the fact I can't see her doing anything on a computer I would like.
Good to see you gave AMD a chance by including a weak system, bias?
end of the day if you was going to spend this much on a pc...... you'd build it yourself or at least part pick it yourself.
Amd threadripper seems to offer much more at less money.
"Scan's standard three-year warranty brings extra peace of mind when overclocks are applied to such extreme hardware."
riight..
but it`s already overclocked, and scan won`t mind at all if you over-overclock it? really?
hmm..
