    Corsair DOMINATOR TWIN3X2048-1800C7 G

Is DDR3 worth buying right now? Just how fast is cutting-edge D3? Is Corsair's TWIN3X2048-1800C7 G worth the money?

I could build a PC for the price of that RAM.

Looks like DDR-3 won't flourish until gone mid-2008. Still, give it time.

They were some very nice numbers, not that I really understood them...

Couldn't these be tested on one of the DDR2/3 boards against the fastest DDR2 to see what the relative performance is? I take your word in the conclusion that it's overpriced for what it is, but is it any better? Be interesting to see if it does any better than the DDR2 vs DDR1 with the S939 vs AM2 early comparisons.
