And the value summary still excludes the motherboard and memory from the price, which skewed the i7 result. Fantastic AM2+ drop in upgrade though. |

There's plenty of good ones in the £100 - £120 range, and (at both Scan and Ebuyer) they top out @ £160 - the same as the cheapest 1366 motherboards!

Seems like it's going to be like this for a while as I can imagine etailers would like to get rid of their stock of 940BEs first. |

| Re: Reviews - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition: back with a bang I dont see any need for me to upgrade my 940BE to one of these as the only advantage it has is DDR3 compatability and 2 meg of leve 3 cache. The 200 mhz upgrade in speed means little as they are both black editions  Good review |
