I doubt i'll be making manchester after coming back from South Africa earlier in the week.

If I end up going to the meet which I would indeed like to, your more then welcome to stay over at my uni house on the friday night beforehand or something Guy to save money on your railfare? Newbury to Stafford, me driving to manchester I would imagine would work out cheaper for you?

Hey hey, I'm back in the frame - I'm back from New York the 30th - so I can make this now! (Jetlag dependant) - what's the main method of transport going? Train? Or anyone offering lifts? Actually to be fair, the coach is normally cheap too

At the moment it's train, but we're trying to sort Ade out with that one.
