OK, now Im driving it will be easier for me to get to ohtre places, so how does Ironbridge sound ?

Malthouse, Swan, White Hart all great pubs within walking distance of each other and they all do good grub too.

Right, another modification to my plans - Im going to a school reunion on the Friday 2nd Nov at Daventry, so can offer lifts along the way home if anyone wants it.

Ive also been thinking about venues and am pretty sure Ironbridge is now our best bet, lots of pubs & several restaurants.

OK, plenty of pubs in Ironbridge for lunch, can recommend the Malthouse.

Also, for "entertainment" we have out World Heritage sites, the Ironbridge itself, and the other museums in the ara (Birthplace of the industrial Revolution, iron first smelted with coke early 1700s etc) http://www.ironbridge.org.uk

I can't miss Calzaghe - Kessler, it's the second most important fight in boxing this year (after hatton mayweather. Which is in vegas. So I can't go. They did it on purpose).
