I almost made it - but I've had the parents round DIY'ing all day (till around 930pm) - and then noticed one of my tyres was a bit flat (around 1030pm) - so have topped it up now - but in the end it was getting way too late.

I doubt it will, after the poor turn out and given that with the exception of Lee, everybody else there (all 4 of us) could have gone to Birmingham instead, which would have been much closer. That's not to say I didn't enjoy myself, but it was a long way to go.

Anyway, it's Rai's call as to whether she wants to organise another social meet in Manchester.

I agree with Jez manchester was a decent way to go and I was looking forward to meeting some peeps so it was a tad disappointing more people didn't arrive.

Either way, we had as good a time 4 people could have methinks!

I might try Liverpool instead in Feb... see what this "Capital of Culture" malarkey is all about.

Liverpool... hmmm.... Would be fairly painless for us.... and there's a cracking karting track just up the road in Burscough too, providing there's enough transport for everyone....
