Ive been meaning to see what the Omega looks like, BUT . . . it really wouldnt be worth organising it all just for a day/I wouldnt be prepared to go all that way just for 8 or so hours tbh.

+ Even if they were higher spec'd pc's give me my own mouse/keyboard combo anyday, AND . . . . you cant take your own drink to the Sektor?

What's up with the GameOn website and forums? They've been down for about a week now.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt; then it's bloody hilarious!

Actually, assuming it's not massively expensive to get there, I think I would prefer something like that.

I'm all up for going to a LAN, but I'd rather not have to cart my PC and monitor there too as well as whatever else I'd need. I wouldn't mind taking my PS3, but a whole PC just feels like too much effort.

Anyway, I'd only be there for the laugh, not the competition, so using someone else's equipment doesn't really bother me unless it's utter pants.

    What does everyone else think?

Also, I too haven't read the whole thread, so I have no idea how much of this has already been decided. Seems I'm late to the party again .

I feared that might be the case.

    Have fun anyway .

Perhaps we could look into the Omega Sektor thing for another outing.

There were a few spaces left at the back end of last week when the website was still up.

I'm going to GAME today to have a look see, anything worth picking up in there while I'm there? any good deals on the 2 for £15?
