    Provisional Plans for 2009

Well, it's November 2008 already so I'm starting to think of Social plans for next year.

Social - 5/6 Meets - I am trying to aim for some where in each of the 4 corners of the country!

    Reading
    London
    Birmingham
Milton Keynes (Bletchley Park) - I will pull this one back in the year in 2009 so that it may be better weather for a pic-a-nic.
    Leeds/York
    Manchester
If I have the funds too I may do another Glasgow meet

    LAN - 3 LANs (TBC)

    Feb, August and November

More details as I flesh them out!

No SW? Or is that the (possible) Glasgow meet?

Kyle. I'm going to buy you a map of the british isles for xmas.

Reading is the possible SW as it's a little more central but still a bit SW.

Sounds good what is planned! Especially Reading as its on my doorstep so to speak I'm pretty sure I can also make MK, Birmingham, Manchester and possibly London. Toying with the idea of going to a LAN but I'd only really be interested in console gaming which from what I've seen LAN's don't cater for.

There is a fair bit of console gaming, a few people bring there 360's/PS3's, theres usually some GH3 going in on the background.

But you really cant beat some generals/RTS action, and the huge trackmaina sesions, if you play either of these on a console then your doing it wrong

If thats trackmania nations your referring to then i'm up for that, quite a fan of it I also have C & C/ DoW anthology. Might have a bit more of a think about it provided the price is right.

    I loled

Any chance of Reading being quite early next year, and a vote for Newcastle as I know there are quite a few Northerners like Ferral etc

(also would save me travelling as I'm moving back up from Reading to Newcastle next year lol)

When are you last in Reading? May time??

Newcastle is a pain in the lol for me to get to though... it would be an epic trip. I'll see what I can do - if I can get some sponsorship then it may be worth it... just all of the options are a bit expensive.

Possibly earlier than that, need to check my work contract and my housing contract, can't remember when my last date of employment is right now (and around May I am likely to be away at a different company)

It's not that bad price wise

MK to London or Birmingham (probably Birmingham) then up to Newcastle, if you get tickets in advance its less than £60 with a railcard, probably £40 or less if you get it at the best day possible.
