We have met most of the regular Game-on guys and regard them as highly as hexus members - I don't think any hexus are coming down from that far away... so that's your only option apart from the train!

You gotta see if anyone will give you a lift first!! and don't forget to offer some fuel money if you do!!

that's a definite, i can't expect a 200 - 300 mile journey for nothing..

What would you be bringing? Or rather, what would you need if you did decide to go via train? I think someone has a spare monitor. I'm sure other people will have "spare" items if need be. I might even have a spare computer by November.

I definitely have spare monitor I could bring (unless Guy needs it)... but then I still have a spare 17" monitor that can be brought...

Virgin train from carlise to crewe then crewe to stoke-on-trent (or Uttoxeter) then I'm sure one of us won't mind picking you up in the car... and we'll make sure you're on a train on sunday in good time.

well, preferably my whole PC, but if i was to go by train i'd just be taking my keyboard and mouse, and hopefully try and get a PC together from some of the LOVELY PEOPLE AT HEXUS (

) i could maybe try and bring my monitor too. but obviously the tower would just be a huge NO-GO on the train.

Matty - if you're going by train then us car peoples can help you sort out some bits abnd pieces... I've definitley got spare bedding if that would help too.

FYI i'm still trying to get to this one, sorting out monies is hard!

anywho. job interview tomorrow for christmas temp at someplace or another.
then its off to GAME to buy stuff.
then need to ask madduck for lift.
then need to borrow monitor off someone - that 17" of Ms tiggys sounds nice, i'm not used to anything bigger, would just put me off anything biger than 1024x768.

all this depends on getting money though.

Worse case I have a half dead 17" (takes a while to decide to work but is good otherwise) that I can chuck in as it takes no room at all.

Might have to buy myself a 22" as my 24" is PITA to lug arround
