Yes, that was annoying. Normally I go down to J6 and cut across. Didn't realise at first that it was you following me on the A50/A38. Lost you in the M42 traffic, and then saw you pull over at Warwick services.

Feeling much better after a proper non-alcoholic induced sleep. Day off afterwards FTW! I think I'll have a go at sorting out my spare rig properly for the next LAN so someone can use it a bit better (ie, get rid of all crap on it). I believe the next dates are going to be 19th-21st Feb '10, and they'll be confirmed/denied in the next couple of weeks.

got home half 6 thanks to Madducks epicly fast driving skillz, (good job he drove better than in GRID that one time) - that race wher i hit him and smashed him in a wall. his hazard avoidance is shocking, especially when i drive at 150 into a hairpin right and use other things to brake

at 7 ish, laid down on bed.

12.15 today - just woken up

    sleep never felt so good.

    whens topgear on again?

Yeah, I was going to be going down the M1 and going home via a mates, but plans changed, so headed for the M40.

Quick stop at Warwick to get a drink out the boot, and a quick pit stop, then straight on home from there!

Also Day off after lan FTMFW, I'm still currently in bed only waking up an hour ago

Thanks, it does sound like a good laugh. I'm not sure my fiancee would quite understand though - so I might need to think about ways to get her to approve in time for the next one!

Saw the Lan on the Steam friends. Momentarily saw TakTak and Salazaar but the ping was horrendous and dropped out.
Glad to see you all had a good time. BTW you know GRID has issues with multicores. I have the same problem Google i7 and Grid.

You have to patch it with a Dx9 patch too, and amend it a little - but we got it to work successfully.

I'll start a new thread tonight with all the known issues, patches and fixes so we know what needs doing before we get there.

(GRiD, C&C needed patching and fixing this time for W7)

Looks like you all had good fun and it makes me even more jealous that i couldn't go due to things outside my control

Hopefully be able to go to the next one (my calendar is free around those weeks) and i'll be more than happy to pick somebody up on my way up from the southampton/salisbury area. (As long as you don't bring to much crap)

For now though i want more pics of the LAN!

That's great! There are always people needing lifts... especially if you're coming from that way (or through that way...)

Keep the dates in mind guys and I'll get them confirmed asap
