I am here and aware of it - Just been so busy with work and life catching up with me.

This is the problem I'm having, so still not sure if I can make it. Not easy being a civvy now! 60+ hour weeks will hopefully become a bit more bearable when I move to Wantage and my commute goes from 40 miles to 2!

I'm assuming the LAN is open not only to Hexus Members, how do sleeping arrangements work?

Also, has there been any previous incidents of stealing going on at these lan events? I doubt I can afford both a ticket + sleeping as well as some sort of pad-locking system for my computer.

What are the games that are usually played?

Not exactly open, generally members from GameOn / Game Grin and Hexus attend the lan, they are relatively small ~50 or so people. Sleeping arrangements are generally bring a sleeping bag and pillow and sleep in a large room with the rest of the people, some sleep in their cars

No issues of stealing as far as I am aware, everyone pretty much knows everyone, although be warned, if a PC is left unlocked, it is a law at LAN's that you be punished, the punishments are endless. Also, if you can't take a bit of banter and such, then it probably wont suit you, also, its loud (looking at you plat )

What are the games that are usually played? The games vary but some of the key games are CoD4, GRID, L4D, CS:Source, people often bring consoles so there may well be Tekken and street fighter tournaments going on. I know there was talk of trying to play some Day Z at this

On a more positive note they seem to allow people under the age of 18 to attend with parental consent, which is good. I won't have to fake my age to get in, if I can get the money together at all

Hmm it appears they haven't updated the redirects yet, you *should* be able to sign up on gamegrin.com and use the same login for the LAN Events side of things.

Well the LAN's are actually run by GameGrin and the price for the LAN depends which room / building GameGrin can get for the LAN

It was, the price had stayed the same for about 3 years and they recently had to increase the price to take into account the costs being beyond the point where they could absorb the difference

Also, the discount period expired a while back for this one. What you see now is not what you would usually need to payif you get a move on when bookings go up.
