The hover over message display thingy...

You know, when you leave you mouse over a message and it displays the first part of it (dunno what it's really called ).

Anyway, can we perhaps have a setting to disable this? Or can you change it to onclick or something (:edit: - obviously not the title of the message as it will open it!)? It's really handy to read the first part of the post without even opening the message, but on the same hand it's annoying when it brings up a big box and covers the headings of other messages...

I don't wanna cause any bother or extra work, so if this can't easily be done just send a slap my way.

couldn't do it onClick as the URL would open when you clicked. Shorty will let you know if it can be disabled as he's the forum guru. They should disappear when you move the mouse off the link though

The onclick suggestion was about the surrounding box, obviously not the link as it wouldn't open then.

If Shorty can't do it then no-one can, eh?

However, would this be a good compromise... right now.. tis the box.. how about if I move the alt text to just the hyperlink?

Sounds great! As long as no-one else has any problems with that!
