Too much Flash ADs in Hexus?
It wasn't that noticible until I went back to my single-core machine, with just 1 single Intel flash on the top firefox averaged 59% CPU on my A63 3000+!
With 2 Hexus tabs open it drains 99% which pretty much make firefox stop responding :S Some pages even have 2 of those flash ADs. I know it is good to have nice-looking flash, but it is definitely not right to use that much CPU. |

single core opty 146 right now and it's fine for me. i got 11 hexus tabs open with the flash ads in them and this machine only has 512mb, might be your windows setup?

My serious point (and I've raised it everytime the discussion comes up) is that flash on older macs doesn't work very well (=hot laptop=very uncomfortable lap) so I have to have flash blocked and only play flash games for a short time. It would be nice if you had a no flash option so I didn't have to block most of your ads. |
