Advert server stopping pages loading?

adserver.adtech.de (this one today...)

Just dont get anything back. Prevents any pages loading if they have the advert. Which is slightly frustrating.

Had this for the last 10mins or so.

Looks like it might have been a blip with a 3rd party ad server - has the problem gone?

seems to be happening on alot of sites i go to.

i dunno weather the ad servers are over subscribed, or just old and tired (i'm being polite ) but its a problems thats starting to annoy me all over the net.

i was trying to access a thread in general discussion a few minutes ago, but i couln't get on because i kept getting the "waiting for hexus.uk.smarttargetting" i'm not sure if that's the exact message but it's something like that in the bottom left of firefox, i presume this is an adserver. This happens fairly often and usually clears up if i wait a few minutes before going to the same thread again. Just thought you guys would like to know.
