anyone else having the same problem?

when i try and visit a page on Hexus, with the Microsoft Windows Mobile advert at the top the rest of the page doesn't load..

it only happens with this MS advert and was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem?

here's a print-screen of the problem, maybe someone from Hexus can have a look into this aswell and see that the problem is.

also.. i'm using Firefox 2.0.0.13 on windows Vista 32bit

it's bloody annoying 'cause no matter how many times you refresh or go back and click the link again it's the same advert again and again!

Just so you know, I had this a couple of times earlier too. Can't remember if it was at work with IE7 or at home with Opera.

It didn't hang around long. went to another thread and it was fine.

All of Hexus's adservers slow down the page loading anyway. At work most of them are blocked by the proxy server and it makes viewing the pages a whole lot more pleasurable - they just load so much faster.

do you not just have a faster connection at work?
'cause a faster connection would mean pages load quicker

Depends on the time of day - but even so the loss of adverts is noticeable (looking at the progress bar at the foot of the browser - it doesn't even look at the adservers at all)

'cause a faster connection would mean pages load quicker

Yep, had the same problem yesterday too with the main section failing to load after that advert was shown ... good luck getting it sorted

My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

    Guys

I want to help you but posting saying you have problems doesn't help

Please can you do the following:

    - State what page you have the problem
    - What time
    - What ISP
    - What banner was the last you saw on the page

Also if you can post a screenshot that would be ace

    cheers

    David

Can't remember if it occurred on more than one page - I hop about all over the place (figuratively not literally ) - but it definately happened whilst veiwing the free cd thread yesterday afternoon.

Same advert, probably around the same time, same page. My ISP is Sky (same as Matty iirc). Hope that helps a bit?

Edit: I'll ensure I log a proper bug report in future

My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

it doesn't matter what time of day it is.
i'm using Sky Broadband (max package)
it only happens when that Microsoft Banner comes up..
all the other ads are fine.

and if you want a screenshot there's 1 at the top of the page..
    or linked here: linkyyy
