What to do with forums when they are no longer being used

I was just pottering around the various forums and noticed that some parts don't get used as much as others. ATi.care@HEXUS for instance has not had a post in it since the 19th December and this was to reply to a thread that was started in 2006. Is it time that this section was archived and closed off?

Re: What to do with forums when they are no longer being used

The whole care@HEXUS section is paid for by the companies represented in the sub forums. I'm guessing that although ATI don't have an active presence on here any more, they are still paying the bill for HEXUS to host the board. So until someone cancels the payment or tells them to close it, it will remain open.

That's just a hunch though, I'm not connected to Hexus in any way, so I could be wrong

    I had wondered this too.

I personally think it's a poor show from companies not to participate in the he community section they set up.

Re: What to do with forums when they are no longer being used

The ATi sub forum was originally more focused on the All in Wonder cards, which were discontinued a few years back and the company has changed greatly(purchased by AMD), so activity has dropped since then. Abit went bust sadly. Both are left up for people that might need them.
