    Iffy netscape formatting

Using Navigator 7.1 here. I normally don't have many probs with Hexus, but the Mesh vs Evehsam review was pretty bad for the 'next page' links not being positioned correctly - looks like links are on a separate layer and going out of whack (I didn't check the html so am guessing).

anyway - it still works so its only a niggle.

    Happy Xmas

the next and previous links are, as you suggest, on a separate layer and if the content loads in too slowly then they have a tendency to appear halfway up the screen. This issue will be addressed when the reviews code is rewritten. In the meantime, a simple screen refresh will sort it out.

Since I haven't tested the site on Netscape 7.1 I'm glad to hear it works okay. Thanks for the feedback

    Is there a fix?

Read the thread and it just looked like you told the developer to sort his life out.

Before Firebird can compete with IE it needs to be able to do everything as IE does it - after all it's virtually a standard.

    imitate and then improve

I was just wondering how a webmaster didn't check the site with the main browsers, not just IE, that's all. The fix is by misterhaan, top of page 2

Well since the problem you encouter doesnt affect everyone with netscape, and also the problem doesnt ocur on all reviews - the chance of us actually noting and fixing this is alot less than if would be if it happened to everyone with netscape on every review for instance.

If there is a fix - im sure it will be sorted. Thanks for bringing it up. Its the only way it will be fixed is if you tell us

    Cheers

This issue is nothing to do with browsers, it's to do with the speed the page loads in at. The webmaster i.e. me, tests the site on as many browsers as is possible (I don't even use IE myself any more). I don't test on Netscape 7.1 as it is not a "main browser" by any stretch of the imagination. If you'd taken the time to read other posts in this forum before slagging me off on another site you'd be aware of this

That said I am aware of the issue and I knew what the fix was. As previously stated the reviews are due to be rebuilt and the issue will be dealt with then.
