    Top Gun

I had a rather heated drunken argument with my missus the other night (bless her)

She found it amusing that despite the technical innacuracies and yank bravado, I like it , (in particular I think the intro is an absolute cinematic masterpiece)

As far as she is concerned, Top Gun is / was a 'chick flick' and a love film. As far as I'm concerned it was a film created to appease the widest possible audience by combining exciting planes, beutiful people, and a token love-interest, esentially an action flick.

    so

    Chick-flick, or Action movie ?

Manly matcho film, definately. The love part was just for the girls who were dragged along to the cinema with the guys!

    Sadly no m8

I was too busy laughing as Cesium had a Seisure at you doing Mach 1 down the runway at about 20ft, barely missing him and me by about 10 ft

Aww, gutted... That was one hell of a flyby suprised myself with that one as well. I managed to get it on the external view just as I went over the runway.

Wish I'd been on the ground though, must look awesome to see an F15 screaming 18ft off the deck in without being able to hear it then just getting the BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
