this game
hey
i've been interested in this one for a while now, but if its as good as you lot say then i think i might go and get it soon with what reamains of my Christmas money. What i would like to know is whether to buy the original or 'forgotten battles' cheers |

Forgotten Battles offers more. There are more flyable planes, including mutli-engined bombers with gunnery positions. The flight characteristics are more realistic. There is complex engine management to get to grips with etc.
Also there is a greater choice of career missions from fighter to heavy bomber pilot, and the careers go on for longer. Plus I believe there's going to be a Forgotten Battles add on later this year. The online community for IL2 (original) is slowly dying out, and all the real online action now is with Forgotten Battles. Download 'hyperlobby' and you'll routinely find hundreds of other players online.  'Make mine a Spitfire, Landlord!' |
