    A true dogfight !

Last night, for a short time, Cesium and I flew and had laughs.

Then a rather polite chap joined and he and Cesium flew against me,and we had more laughs.

Then he agreed Marlins should fly together and we should vanquish him.

Not quite sure what happened to young Cesium.....he may have lawn darted...

Anyway.....at about 2500 metres......me and my trusty Pink Latex Lagg3 1941 and this P40 closed for combat.

    Five true minutes......

through cloud and into the sun, diving and rising, wheeling in the light.....what a fight......

Am proud to announce that while he was pretty good......he never hit me.....

I hit him with a few lucky bullets but no canon shells...

After nearly 4 minutes we were stale mate.......I was on him , but he was dealing cards to lady luck and she was paying out...big time...

but not ONCE was I in danger....he tried....so hard....but it just was not happening.....and yet...after over 5 minutes....co altitudes were at over 1000 metres still.....both often with over 300 kph.

    Energy and Visibility....eventually I called a rest....he gratefully accepted....

Sometimes you play chess and the opposition is good....and you are a match....and you must shake hands.

I'm nearly there guys...I can FEEL it...... it's building....

SO to Cesium.......dont go head on with me in my IL2 unless you are flying behind a force field ...and dont mess with my Chakka, you smoke too much.....but you didn't half hit me hard on the first fight mate.....truly great shots from a mammoth distance....a good well earned kill.....my IL-2 was massacred that first time.

And to who ever the bloke was (hope Cesium remembers him)

Respect Pilot.....I enjoyed that HUGELY,,,,my heart rate was......

I'll let Cesium tell you that

A 2004 thank you to all of Marlins for spending the time and effort with MA_Zak33

As soon as I can sort out my evening time I shall come and help win this war.

LOL well played, theres nothing but nothing in online gaming to compare with a dam good mission be it DF / Bombing or intercept. And when you meet a good opponent win , loose or draw its great

he was a really nice pilot and he was exactly the same level as me.....or rather his P40 and my Lagg 3 were matched to each of us.

I love this Lagg3......its just so forgiving....and it seems to hold its speed....can re climb after most stuff.
