dunno wether this is the right place but anyways, does anyone know if the is a command for stalker to make the crosshair smaller? at the moment theyre stupidly large and very unaccurate.

It depends on your weapon some are more accurate than others thus have smaller cross if you crouch they get smaller and your shots become more accurate.

from wot ave been told the accuracy of stalker is very true to life unlike most games, so no u cant change the settings because that would defeat the point of making the game life like.

I believe the game also makes weapons inaccurate when firing from the hip (i.e. using crosshairs). For accuracy you have to shoulder the weapon and use the sights, and even then most of the earlier weapons are pretty pash. Once you get the Nato weapons with scopes things improve a bit.
It's all part of the challenge!
