Pacific Storm: Allies - Expansion pack or stand-alone?

    Hi all

I keep being tempted to buy Pacific Storm: Allies but I can't find confirmation of whether it is a sequel that can be run without Pacific Storm, or an expansion pack that requires Pacific Storm...

I've read review sites and so on and seen both possibilities. Yet "Pacific Storm" (i.e. not Allies) is quite hard to find.

So can anyone absolutely positively "got it and playing it" confirm one way or another please?

And for that matter, tell me whether I should or shouldn't get it too...

I've read that it needs the original game.

    Thanks
