    Zak's Server....what ya want?

Shall host tonight.....won't/can't play tonight but will leave it running til late.

    Password or not?

    Map....?

Can anyone send me/email me any maps they like...I have NO idea about that at all.......not even WHERE to put them

I can use default ones if you'd like....Summer Mountains is good for hitting AAA.....can do winter if you'd like

Was thinking maybe a NIGHT TIME ONE me and TiG did that a while ago....was ace.

    What limit to player numbers?

You all seemto get good-ish pings on it...its 1mg NTL and plenty of PC spec..so tell me..

Im going to the pub, then home....will check what you all want then sort it.

Like my Sig says.......you get out what you put it....and I owe you all lots

Dunno....about flak that is....I just fiddled with the mission file to change time and height of the clouds to set a nice moonlit run for you all!

    Hope you all enjoyed it.

    What next...shall I suprise you all ?

And was it laggy....? Cos Hat said he was having a bad time of lag....but you all showed pings less than 100 !

Dunno whatto do about that.....I'll try settings in the game again.

The problem wasn't lag so much but i think for people with some lower spec gfx cards the flack was turning it into a slideshow.

thanks for doing this Zak,, as I siad, when i get round to not being here .. i shall set up the dedicated MA_Server. Ive got a few maps with selected times of day, lengths, ground targets - positioned flak etc etc.. alos, being the dedicated server software, it should suffer less from flak slideshows etc

Also got them set at difft times of the war.. so they should be able to cycle through at a time limimit of say an hour each. THe settings will be VEF style, with minimap icins on.., soi you know where you are

lol i kinda liked the darkness ,but yes when all 9 gizillion tanks open up A - u cant see the enemy as the screen turns into a blue blob of tank fire and B - it does half the frame rate

didnt have any lag personally ,i think stoo had all the lag as he kept going into startrek mode

If you're doing it again tonight, I might see if I can join too. Only I have been experiencing problems with FB due to my low mem (256MB). I'm forced to have all settings at low!

I tried a night flight the other day, couldn't see a damned thing as I have to have low settings... Crashed into the sea three times, crashed on landing once (after actually making a kill somehow...), and got blown out of the skies all the other times. Terrible sorties...

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

I think the lag is to do with my isp, pipex keep performing "minor maintanance" on the system, and BT have been buggering about with the exchange as well..

ok..so moonlit was bad ? I thought it was well exciting when Ifirst put it up...had a fly about....

was hoping a few of you might go in Stealth Mode in IL-2's in Black Skins...and the rest Hunt and Kill

    Was thinking......maybe.....Rain or Snow tonight?

    Early morning....dawn....rain....or even thunder

Gotta find out how first tho....the cloud level and time of day was a doddle to find in a text file....BUT.....weather....

    hmm.....

If someone wants to point me to a Map Site....tell me HOW...I'll install a few and host per night.

I had a quick go in a Heinkel... That thing is IMPOSSIBLE to land when there's flak going up all over the place in the dark

Thunder rocks, I managed to play a game on one of the dogfight servers, it makes it a right laugh, hiding in the clouds, swooping down on the enemy, hopeing you don't get struck by lightning
