    LOMAC game, this Thursday: 9pm

Ok, myself or Mav will be hosting a game again tomorrow night. I've yet to make the mission so I'm in need of suggestions of what kind of mission people would like to play.

Last weeks mission was a A10 ground strike on a boat coming into port that had a major terrorist leader aboard. 6 players could fly, 2 in F15s providing CAP, 4 in A10s busting the boat and support vehicles.

Now.. what do we all fancy this week?

More A10 madness? Su27 fun? Su33 carrier stuff?

    Suggestioned needed.

I'l do my very best to make it m8. I started my new job this week and me and the missus have had an 'eventful time' this week to say the least - anyways the smoke is clearing and I should be good to go

I'll take any plane m8 (bar the Frogfoot - can't stand that thing tbh)

I DID enjoy those old F-15 sorties

Well, F15 CAP should be do-able Skii. Mav wants a ship strike of some sort, though that would suggest a Russian based mission.

I've worked out how to get loads of people off the carrier - have to stagger the start times a little then it works.

So, strike against a group of ships with CAP. Looks like it's Su33s then gents.

Hope you can all land on a carrier!

Sounds good. I managed a blind carrier landing the other night, so I should be good to go, no more strawberry-jam-all-over-the-stern for me hopefully.

    Su-33's a good toy

    Mission completed.

    Briefing

2 of our oil tankers are 80nm away from our carrier group. Intelligence caught radio transmissions of mayday calls from the tankers and radar pictures show a third ship in the area. Intel suggests they've been hijacked by US special forces and that the tankers are being taken to a US controlled port. This must not be allowed to happen. Since we can't raise the crew on the radio we assume they've either escaped or have been killed. Take out the 3 ships in the area shown on the map.

2x CAP flights launch at 11:00/01
2x Ship strike flights at 11:02/03
    2x followup CAP at 11:04/5

Consider all land area unfriendly. We know there's a SAM site on the southern most tip by an airfield. Consider avoiding or destroying. Watch out for US fighters trying to maintain air superiority.

Mission is built for for a 6 ship flight.

Yeah, least we got the launching sorted, would of been a smidge embarassing otherwise!

I'm going to change the time of day so there's no landing lights. Hopefully that'll sort the FPS issue.
