LOMAC next week: In here lads

    Hard training, Easy war...

Those of you with LOMAC who are up for the flight next week, rather than do the more normal mission and save the world it's time for some training.

I suggest we have a freeflight and concentrate on our formation work. Lead aircraft can be cycled between us all so we all get chance to join and stay in formation - not to mention the most important bit, the lead aircraft keeping the rest informed and sticking to the speed etc they say they're going to fly at!

Shame multiplayer doesn't support refueling - we can hope in the future it does...

So, I think I'll make a mission up where we fly from one side of the map to the other. We can land, refuel then spend a bit of time flying in a line through the valleys as fast as possible, nap of the earth style. Lead aircraft picks the route, it's up to the others to stay as close as possible in a line.

Sound like fun? Who's up for some of that then?

Question is - what we gonna fly this week? Vote.

sounds great im up for it. I'm tempted to say Mig-29 because of the sheer speed and it looks AMAZING!

But I just can't resist the Su-33, brilliant handling, loads of spped, and it don't half look bad either

    F-15 !?! Gay ?!?

    Ok, maybe a little camp..

Mig would be my preference as my favorite dogfighter, but for the purposes of sightseeing and NOE flying the Migs thimble fuel load is no good, I guess that leaves the Flanker

    Su-27

This is true - but have you tried landing a bloody MiG29? Thign has way too much lift and never touches down smoothly.

yea, Mig-29 = BANG! on landing

and Skii about the fuel thing, theres always unlimited fuel - i dont think it would be that bad using it as were only messing about and not doing a mission

Su-33 all the way! The 27 has noticably less manouverablilty

I'm beggining to think Mig though, as it looks gorgeous, and will be great for screenies videos. Btw i plan to capture parts of this fly about with fraps
