Yer, but i can't see the point in paying the extra huge amount of wonga to get isdn. plus I had a huge issue getting the second normal line up to quality to use a modem.

Cranfield's exchanges are basically full, so i wouldn't even like to comprehend how long it would take for me to get that sorted with BT.

we could persuade that Trig bloke - you know the one that hangs around in here sometimes. Apparently he's having a LAN at the moment in his very house. Some clan or other called GSV I dunno - they told me to say their websites called http://www.gsvclan.co.uk or something....

Zak and Tig, maybe you two should put your heads together to see how we can get Zaks Cable working for more than one pc?

    Eh? What? Me?

Willing to help out in any way I can. If I can get round to getting a copy of FB, we could get Moby and have a mini Lan round at mine to practice!

I have a CABLE MODEM from NTL.....its plugged into my set top box.

How can we run more than one PC off it online?

Me and Deck tried it, cos I fitted a second NIC but it seems I have only one IP address....

clearly, I am a clueless twat, so was hoping you and TiG cuould sort it...cos then with a hub....

Me in upstairs room, Deckard in bed room with bed pushed over, one or even two in living room and one in kitchen...

    gardens tidy....even got a garage.....

but seriously though.....we must be able to doit at mine and Trigs

LAN WAN....we will be world beaters....TEAM LAWN DART UK
