I have had a MARVELLOUS idea :)
Can someone make a MAP where the run way is gently pointing down hill? So when a planeis ON it facing downhill, the plane is perfectly horizontal.
Can that person then put a bloody great big WHITE building on the run way? Can that desginer then mark the runway in Metres, measuring distance FROM the white building? Perhaps using Poles or Towers so they are easily seen out of the cockpit. Then I can park up, in my plane, and get to an exact distance..... and shoot the white building.....and then SEE where the hits go! it would be EXCELLENT to see bullet spread, bullet drop etc. POSSIBLE? |

I thought of this because I used to shoot (shotguns) at a farm where the owner painted a wall of his barn white, and used to shoot it to see spread of his different guns and varying cartridges......varying chokes and things.
It was amazing to see the difference in quality of cartridges, and the even or un-even spread of the pellets. And the barrels made a huge difference too. |

Zak mate wouldnt really help you all that much thing is the bullets converge at your set distance, but if staionary wouldnt do any more than tell you the pattern at that distance when stationary, you have to take into account you are firing at a moving target from a moving target
Do a lot of shooting myself and a shotty spread starts tight and spread, guns on a plane start wide converge then spread

I know......I was just thinking it would be good to see the mammoth diffference in drop between say 200m and 300 metres...
AND.....the effect convergance really has.....and tthe effect AFTER convergance...once they've all crossed. I'll get my flight coat
